An R package for browsing Thai agricultural prices and indices from the National Agricultural Big Data Center (NABC) API, like a walk through a Thai market (ตลาด). It handles the HTTP requests and pagination for you and returns ready-to-use data frames.

Available data

  • Commodity prices: daily, weekly, monthly
  • Agricultural production index: monthly, quarterly, yearly
  • Agricultural price index: monthly, quarterly, yearly

Main functions

Function Returns
get_daily_prices() Daily commodity prices
get_weekly_prices() Weekly commodity prices
get_monthly_prices() Monthly commodity prices
get_production_index_month() / _quarter() / _year() Production index
get_price_index_month() / _quarter() / _year() Price index

Helper functions such as show_daily_products() and show_index_groups() list the valid product and category codes. Product names differ between the daily and weekly datasets, so check the list first.
