Rice pest outbreaks occur constantly and change rapidly. TRPMN has therefore invented and developed technology that serves as a “central hub for data collection” and a “voice for early-warning alerts.”
It emphasizes the participation of network members, whether local farmers or officials from various sectors, who work together to share real-time information from the fields.

To ensure that the information gathered from the fields is accurate and practically usable, TRPMN has built collaborations with “academics and experts” who have specialized knowledge in analyzing rice pest outbreak reports.
This is to verify and confirm accuracy before relaying knowledge and alerts back to network members.
